"I always had a repulsive need to be something more than human."
-David Bowie (via timedoesnotexisthere)
“I want a woman who can sit me down, shut me up, tell me ten things I don’t already know, and make me laugh. I don’t care what you look like, just turn me on. And if you can do that, I will follow you on bloody stumps through the snow. I will nibble your mukluks with my own teeth. I will do your windows. I will care about your feelings. Just have something in there.”
Henry Rollins.

Every once in a while, something happens that forces you to step back — to stop what you’re doing, take a deep breath, and gain some perspective. Every once in a while, the small, everyday issues turn faint and hazy as the big picture comes brightly, unavoidably into focus.
And then gratitude, it fills you up. Gratitude and love
so this happened in florida the other day…..interesting…..

on the lack of time…
Death is such a difficult concept to grasp. The end of one’s physical life here in this world. One minute there is life flowing through your cells, systems all cooperating together to sustain your existance and then it’s over. Life stops. My grandfather passed today somewhat suddenly and I can’t help but think about time. The passing, the wasting, the precious moments we take for granted. Today was my grandparent’s 64th wedding anniversary. They met at 16 and had been together close to 70 years. In my eyes, my grandfather lived a long happy life. He was a WWII vet, a husband and father, business owner, homeowner, world traveler, and all my grandma could say was she wanted more time. They weren’t done living yet.
I wasn’t terribly close with my grandfather, i don’t think anyone truly was. He was a logical, militant, detached man, but my grandma loved him. My heart broke in a million little peices watching her say goodbye to him.
Time….for as much as we’re given, is it ever really enough? Relationships are the most important bonds we form here in this life. Between family, friends, lovers, animals. Time is something we can’t get back, there are no rainchecks, no maybe laters. Life is to be lived in the here and now. Hug your loved ones, tell them you care. Comminucate to the best of your ability how you feel because one day you won’t have that chance. Your time will be up and to have those kind of regrets…thats a heavy burden to bear.
RIP Grandpa
“This project is meant to be consumed with your emotions, and not simply perceived with your sense organs. I wanted a transcendental meaning behind them; not only with the use of chromatics and aesthetics. I wanted to create an under tow of messages to stress the strong influences of unconscious elements affecting and driving people’s lives …”
